I was excited to start Fade and once I did I was happy to see that it was just as good as the first one. I am happy to see Caleb and Janie still together and what they go through to solve the case they are one is very intersting. I would recomend this book to anyone who liked the first book.

Not as good as Wake, but worth a(n easy) read. I think I read it in two and a half hours.

An easy read, not much too it but an ok book to jump in and out of. Been reading as a Kindle on my iPhone when I have the odd 10 minutes here and there.

I love the slow build-up in this one. I love how bad-ass Janie is both with her martial arts and her training - and she's really smart as well. I love how she took care of the bad-guys, even after she got drugged.

I didn't love how Cabe couldn't handle things after the bust - I felt so sorry for Janie, the way she had no idea how or why it happened that he needed a break. But she's strong. And I love how she is able to pick herself off the floor, even when there's noone else around - except for maybe the captain.

"Fade" by Lisa McMann was a great story. It is the second book in the Wake trilogy. This book and the first one were both incredible. It is a book that once you get into, you don't want to put down. You want to keep reading to find out exactly what is happening and what it will lead to next. Overall, this was an incredible book and I can't wait to read the third one.

Although the writing was very choppy, you never miss a beat and it's hard to put down.
