This was really good!! Definitely hit the spot for the MC vibe I was looking for. Not crazy super dark, but not all cotton candy sweet either. And the ending has me very intrigued for the next book.

So good! I loved the friendship between Rayne and Zero’s sister. Zero’s protectiveness and possessiveness were so hot. I found the plot really interesting, and I loved seeing Rayne find herself again.

This was a new series to me - I have an ARC of book two and wanted to make sure I was up to date before starting it -and I was surprised how much I liked it.

Zero is an overbearing, gruff, big brother and MC president who has a penchant for playing the white knight. Rayne is in a terrible and (CW/ TW) violent marriage. But takes a chance when her friend - and the younger sister of Zero - offers her a way out. IT is a bit of a wild ride from there! I am not sure that it needed to have a love triangle for like two chapters? And then just like... ended. But the reasons why Zero struggled to open his heart to Rayne felt real.

I don't love the dark romances but this was pretty good actually.

Really curious about the next book with the sister and VP
