This book absolutely didn’t do me justice with the cliffhanger it ends on! Damn, I want to know what happens next. This book was so fun to read from chapter 1-25, I loved it through and through! But I must say I freaked out while reading chapter 25 when I realised we aren’t even halfway near the end and that’s when I realised it’s a series, lol! And now I’m HOOKED! I’ll literally be waiting so bad for the next book in the series and so would you!
I struggled so much with the writing style. It’s just not for me. It’s very heavy on the telling and lacks any showing. Information is just info dumped onto you. I don’t vibe well with the characters, it’s just not for me.

Overall enjoyed the book. It has an interesting magic system and world, and I like the characters. But the main character got kidnapped and attacked one too many times. She was kidnapped or taken in every scene it felt like. Some parts felt felt repetitive.

Amazing main character, fantastic group of friends, fantastic banter, amazing storyline and beyond amazing world building. I wish I could just go through this book and end up in that world. I can't next express just how much I loved this book it was freaking phenomenal. Shaye is kidnapped on the night before her wedding by a group of people that was in the castle intending to assassinate someone. She may get knocked out but she will not go so easily. She tries to run away several times, tries being the key word. Unfortunately for her Atlas catches her every time. The banter between these to was so much fun, I was absolutely entertained by them. This story also has so much actions and you get to see Shaye grow so much as a character. No massive cliffhanger but I am thoroughly intrigued.
