While this was super hot, I was less emotionally invested in the triad's relationship compared to books #1 and #3 (that I've read) of this series. I found myself not caring much about their HEA by the end. Emma was probably my least favorite of Robert's heroines.
I like this type of Christmas story: very little actual Christmas and a snowed-in cabin. And the move Grayson makes when he first touches Derek's dick is erotic characterization perfection.

This was the little novella was exactly what I needed to break up the monotony of all the Christmas books I’ve been binging. After 12 straight days of Christmas book, after Christmas book, I needed something that was still on theme for the holidays, but provided me with the totally unfiltered raunchiness I craved.
Don’t be fooled, this book had hardly any plot to it. I would say the ratio was about 90% spice to 10% plot. But I was 100% here for it.
As a small warning for readers before they decide to pick this up, I thought this was going to be a MFM turned thruple, when it was actually a MMF. Totally taboo, and just straight SMUT.

Katee Robert writes a VERY hot book, you can't deny that. But she also packs SO many feels into this one. The reader can see from the first moment they're on the page together that Emma and Grayson love each other, and that Grayson's long-time best friend Derek will be a perfect addition to their marriage.
