A wonderful conclusion to the The Bennett Duet. The all consuming lust, connection and passion between Benicio and Chantal was captivating!! Beautifully well-written with well-built plot with twists and turns that will keep you intrigued. I loved it!! I received an advanced copy of this book and am enthusiastically leaving an honest review.

Ahhh loved it

So hands down Miko is still my favorite character. And i don’t know how you put so much fun banter into what is a pretty serious book but it was done very well. I also loved the pace. All the big emotions were given just enough time to play themselves out. I loved getting all the details and story instead of synopsis of things like the wedding and Miko leaving. I also feel like she turned the heat up in this one which was very hot!! And I like how Chantal felt more solid. She wasn’t given a lot of “action moments” which I could have used a few more of in the first book but the power of her moments in this one I really enjoyed! I’m excited to read more from the Mrs. Neal

I hate that their story ended. This story lead me on a tilt-a-whirl of emotions. I felt for Benicio, Chantal, and Miko. Well not, Miko so much (lol). I enjoyed book two of The Bennett Duet and look forward to more books by Xavier Neal.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this book. Dark Reign picks right up where Dark Ruler left off. I will say Benicio was a force to be reckoned with in this book. We get his dark, twisted, and oh so delicious side within these pages. He does not hold back when he is dishing out all the punishiments both sensual and twisted. Chantel, now Chantel was put through the ringer, but in true Chantel fashion she came back swinging and with a vengeance! I will say all hail the queen where she is concerned. Trust me you need to read this and when you get to a certain place in the book you will know exactly what I am talking about. I adore her sass and love that she fought her way back to who she is.
I am so looking forward to more from this author. If you have read these books than you will know why.

Have I told you lately that I love... Beni and Chantal? Because I do. I most assuredly do. I fell for them in Dark Ruler and my heart was broken at the end, on that epic cliffhanger, as I waited to see what would happen next.

And I'm so happy I finally finished. I will admit that the first part of the book was a little difficult for me mostly because I am so in love and invested that it was hard for me to watch the pain and anger and fear.

However, when the tide turns and the sun shines, it's so glorious and sexy and happy and it's everything I want to see in these incredibly strong, in love, and soul-beautiful characters. The steam is off the charts and the love made my heart ache. When it did get dark, all I could do was root for these characters and their happily ever after.

Real talk - do we get Miko's story or not?! Because I need the details on what that looks like!!!
