A friend told me to read this and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed this. It is a marriage of convenience, but it's fast paced and I really liked how the characters were written. I loved the dynamic between the characters - and how the Duke's past injuries are handled. He's a grumpy duke in need of a bride and heir, and she's a woman in need of more stable finance. It was cute how she insisted doing romantic things despite their deal. And I thought it was just a sweet historical romance about learning to love/trust again, with a little spice.

Y'all. I get it. I finally get it. After hearing/reading so many people RAVE about Tessa Dare, I finally went into my Kindle library and downloaded this after listening to Heaving Bosoms' rebroadcast of their episode on this one. I finally get it, everyone. The only regret I have is that I didn't read this earlier. I mean, this had a lot of emotion, a touch of angst, and a whole lot of laughs! I actually own all of the Girl Meets Duke series (at some point, I bought them all knowing that I needed to read them), so prepare to see more of that series this year - I'm going to love getting lost in this.

 4 GLORIOUSLY WONDERFUL STARS!! 

This book was such a fun time! it was silly, it was funny and exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump, this is my second Tessa Dare book and she’s quickly becoming a favorite regency romance author of mine her books are so charming and so cute I couldn’t put it down definitely recommend!
