I tried this once and put it down, months later I picked it back up. This was just okay. I like the plot of Abigail finding someone to chase and play with her. The backstory of Leo and the warehouse fire was interesting, but this wasn't very memorable and it just fell flat for me. I also listened to the audiobook and this is personal preference, but I didn't care for the female narrator and the British slang.

4.5⭐️ Whew! Leo and Abigail are steamy and naughty!! Allll types of kinks are in here including con-non-con. I couldn’t put the book down bc it was so mysterious and secretive. The ending got a little dramatic but this was a great story on how 2 people helped each other find their way back into the light.

I was swept up from the first page. Leo and Abigail are fully realized characters with backstories that unfold throughout the book. Jade West has created characters that inspire empathy from the reader, while still writing a smoking hot story. As the reader you truly understand the needs of Leo and Abigail and cheer them on. There is enough angst to worry you, but the HEA is beautiful.
