The Royal Arrangement is the prequel in this intriguing duet and another first read from the author. This is a royal romance, marriage of convenience,with a touch of romantic suspense in it.
I've always been a sucker for royal romances and for this book to have this trope plus erotic, suspenseful themes, man I felt like an addict finally having her fix met, LOL.
Prince Henry needs a wife soon if he doesn't want to lose the crown. He has worked so hard as a prince especially when his father, the King, was a tyrant to his subjects. He wanted to be the opposite of him and do right for his people. Enter Everly, the mysterious alluring woman who has captured his eyes when he saw her in a playroom at the Devil's Playground, a sex club that his ally, Roman owned. Since then, he couldn't seem to forget about her. Even when he found out that she was his sworn enemy's daughter, he will not be deterred in pursuing her and this could play well with his plan.
Everly has been disillusioned by love and the men in her life. So, she really couldn't explain why she felt attracted and safe in Prince Henry's arms.
Their chemistry sizzles through the pages, made much more sinfully delicious with the intrigue, lies, secrets and deception that surrounds them. Not to mention, the kinky, steamy hot moments these two have will make you hot and this is just a taste. I can't wait to read what will happen next!

Jeana is an amazing author. Her characters are always so intriguing and she puts so much effort into her books! The Royal Arrangement was a story of intensity, passion, intrigue and pure sexy satisfaction! The characters are insanely attractive and everything about the story is swoon worthy, it is definitely a top read in my book!

The Royal Arrangement has political intrigue, betrayal, treachery, hot sex scenes and more. I liked it but it didn't draw me all the way in. I wasn't fully invested in the characters and their journey.

This had its moments of being cute, but I am writing this a couple of days after reading and I've forgotten most of it already. The one thing I do remember is how disjointed the writing felt by jumping around too much and the overall lack of cohesion.

I read this book out of stupidity, because the sequel was on sale on Amazon and the cover of the second book is very nice. And also because the protagonist's name is Henry, why I keep lying to myself?
Don't let the description fool you, this book is something else. It is about the story of Everly, a girl of great fortune who has been ruled by her parents –and her ex-husband– for her entire life; and Henry, the crown prince of Androvia –yes, like the fertility clinic– who plans to rule better than his terrible father. They both have parents who suck –welcome to the club–.
Speaking of clubs, these protagonists meet in the club of a couple of gangsters who are friends or nemesis of the prince; but this is not just any club where you drink whiskey and play polo and gambling, no, this is a place where people –in total anonymity– fulfill their sexual fantasies.
In case you hadn't realized it from the funny phrase on the cover, this is an EROTIC book.
Now, in this book there is sex (a lot), and if you like sado –or so I think it is– and sex, then this is the book for you. It also addresses other issues, such as murder, the mafia, drug trafficking –and maybe arms and people trafficking, but I don't remember– family abuse, cheating, infidelity, did I say sex?
Well, the book takes place in a very short time, the protagonists have immediate sexual attraction and there is nothing more to say.

This is the first book I have read by Jeana E. Mann and it did not disappoint! This is a dark and sexy tale, full of intrigue and suspense. Henry and Everly are in a n engagement to protect each other, but they don't realize they need to protect their hearts as well. This is a duet and has a killer cliffhanger! Cant wait for the second book in the series!
