J’avais peur d’être déçue par la fin (qu’elle soit trop « facile ») mais finalement ça a été!!

I got introduced by this book by some of my classmates in my english class. They all really liked it and all read it more than once. I didn't see the hype. Pink cover a mystery title "tell no one..." But to my suprize as soon as I read it BAM I was in it. Wouldn't put it down. The story was really great. Awesome outline and the ending was incredible! I highly recommend the book of your on a 6 hour flight or on a road trip and need it or sick in bed because seriously. You won't be able to stop reading it.

DID NOT FINISH: 13%

I don’t care about the characters and I don’t like the audiobook narrator.

I liked the mysteriousness of the synopsis, this book has over a 4-star rating and I was intrigued. However, from the beginning, I felt the writing was off, sometimes I had to backtrack to figure out whose pov I was reading from— povs changed from first to third person and other characters just had a pov without a smooth transition. I especially didn’t like the stereotype of the poor people at the clinic— of course, they had to be black, not well-spoken, teen pregnancy, and gang affiliated, and of course not married. Are Black people the only race that has these issues?

The situation with the feds trying to pin the murder of Beck l’s wife on him was too much… it seemed they were inventing stories and trying to find evidence to corroborate it. The way they went on with interviewing Beck and his in-laws seemed very amateurish. At the beginning of chapter 17, I decided to call it, no need to waste time on this.

Es war sehr anstrengend, dieses Buch zu lesen. Zu viele POVs und Plot-Twists für meinen Geschmack.
