I don't read very many suspenseful books. In my experience they tend to be too frantic. This one was pretty frantic, but I found myself interested in how the story would play out. I put this in the Dan Brown/John Grisham realm of books. It's the kind I tend to read fast and enjoy, but nothing really sticks with me. It's fun while it lasts.

It might have been the mood I was in when I read it, but I really enjoyed this mystery/thriller/thingy. A pediatrician is living day by day after his wife's murder when he realizes she may be alive. What's up with that? All kinds of other mysteries are revealed. This writer is good, and maintained my interest in the mysteries and the characters throughout.

This was a fast paced story that kept you guessing the entire time. Another awesome book by Harlan Coben. I couldn't put it down - read it in two days. I've read 5 of Coben's book and loved all except "Missing You" (only gave it a 3 star rating). Highly recommend this book and author.

It was good and twisty, but I’m tired of characters in desperate situations who happen to know a minority criminal who will both do the dirty work and carry the moral baggage. That is some serious white dude fantasy, straight out of Spencer for Hire.
