super easy to read, great page turner. I sort of wish the intrigue was a bit smaller scale, but still a great mystery nonetheless.

Coben doesn't disappoint! Really good thriller, and I always like it when I can't predict the ending.

This was fine. Cheesy. Too many twists.

Such a fast paced mystery thriller! There was no down time when reading this one; I didn't even have time to guess what was coming next. I couldn't put it down.

I was disappointed with the reviews of this book after reading it. I was really hoping for something better from such a popular author.

Written almost 20 years ago, the tech was definitely outdated, but I felt like the story was too. The big rich bad guy with infinite resources to take out anyone was a bit tired. The whole “ah-ha” moment left a lot to be desired.

I liked the relationship between Elizabeth and Beck, but the rest of the characters and plot were so all over the place, it left you with more questions than answers. Can’t say I’d recommend this one. Maybe another Coben, some other time.

solid 3. very dated, especially the internet references and the whole "hip hop drug dealer" character

This book kept me pretty hooked. It's been a while since I read a thriller that I wanted to binge. The plot was somewhat standard but with some decent twists. In some parts, I just felt stuff was a bit too rushed, especially towards the end. Some twists were predictable, and some weren't. It has very easy-to-read writing and a prologue that hooks you in properly. Overall, it was a great book with minor flaws. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast-paced thriller/crime novel.
