Ultimately this book was an enjoyable read, though far too many of the characters are one-dimensional caricatures.

This is my first Harlan Coben book and it was a good start. The twist at the end was great and really caught me off guard but the pacing seemed weird and I found it hard to swap between first and third person during the book.

I found this book to be exceptionally tedious, lacking a cohesive narrative. The introduction of numerous characters without clear purpose resulted in a confusing and ultimately unsatisfying reading experience.  Despite my continued engagement, hoping for a more impactful narrative, I remained unmoved.

I don't like reading scary books. And I thought this was going to be a scary book, but it wasn't. It was AWESOME! Lots of twists and turns and very Fugitive-y and Bourne Identity-y (made my own words up!). I highly recommend it for people looking to get lost in a plot for a little while. Will it change your life? Probably not. Will it entertain you? For sure.

Fun thriller. Couldn't put it down.

Too descriptive sometimes.
I like the ups and downs. The stereotypical role of a black man being a drug dealer and the dialect did bug me. I did like that he ended up helping the white doctor.
And yes I did want to know what happened to Tyrese and Leticia and Linda and Shawna.
