It's a bitter cruel case of cat and mouse, mixed in with survival of the fitness. I honestly respect Turtle (a.k.a. Julia) in her experience of hardships. To be honest, as much as I didn't like the story, I couldn't stop reading it, therefore having a love it or not it review for the book. I can truthfully recommend this book for mature readers but all in all it's a good book.

I liked this book, I wanted to find out what happened next, but it was dark. Dark subject matter, dark events. A story of abuse, nature, and strength. I found the writing difficult to read sometimes, and the dialogue was written in an unbelievable way too.
