This book is just AMAZING! I love everything! combination of romance and mystery. Oh by the way.. it's a tear-jerker too.
It's about Ivy and Tristan, they were so deeply in love. An accident changed everything. Tristan died in the accident leaving Ivy hurting and depressed, that she lost her faith in Angels.. Tristan became an angel and met Lacey Lovitt, another angel that taught him how to communicate Ivy and try to make her believe in angels.
Tristan found out that their accident wasn't really an accident. Someone set them up. Ivy and Tristan's mission is to find out who caused their accident.
A Must read :) I can't wait for Evercrossed.

To some, Ivy's obsession and unwillingness to move on from Tristan's death may rattle on and become annoying; as it did to me. But again, this author seems to lace together events and things in a way that at the end entertain you and shock you enough to reach the end. Overall, good.

i seriously loved this book.
at first i was confused, but as the book went on i started to understand it more, and started to love it.
What i dont get is "why did gregory want to kill Ivy? obvisiouly he knew that Ivy didnt see him kill caroline. So why did he continue to go ahead with that plan, and ended up killing his mother, tristin, eric, and that other girl, almost killing phillip and ivy. And why did hee kill caroline. obvisiouly if she didnt tell andrew personaly that gregory isnt his son, why whould she tell him now?
What i think was that because gregory killed caroline, he relised that the truth about his father will be known. And if gregory didnt kill caroline, caroline would off kept her mouth shut. am i right?
so its this part that is really confusing me.
can someone tell me the real motive for the death of caroline?

When Ivy falls in love with what feels like her soulmate, Tristan, she feels as if nothing could go wrong. But that all changes when Ivy and Tristan are in a car crash and Tristan dies. When Tristen comes back to Ivy as an angle, he has to make Ivy believe in angles so she will be able to hear and see him again. Soon enough Tristan discovers that their car crash wasn't an accident at all, and that the killer is still out there, possibly hunting Ivy down. Will Tristan be able to help Ivy believe in angles again and will he be able to help solve his murder and find the murderer before Ivy gets killed?
Very interesting ... have to say though, that the story is a tinge bit drawn out but the ending is amazing!

I read this book as part of my 12 Reads from 12 Friends in 2020 and it was very much just okay.
The book begins with the two main characters, Tristan and Ivy, getting in a car crash. It then proceeds to spend the rest of the book giving a lot of, in my opinion, pointlessness about the characters. Within the last 50 pages or so, we finally reach the point that we find out what happened after the accident. Tristan dies and Ivy lives. I should add that during the whole book, Ivy believes in angels and prays to them. After he dies, Ivy stops believing in her angels and while Tristan is trying to contact her to tell her that he loved her, she isn't able to see him and even though he tries to contact her through others, she won't hear it because she thinks that if angels existed then they would have saved Tristan. Now, Tristan dies and is turned into an angel and has a mission to complete. From the very minute he is told he has a mission, I knew that his mission was to get Ivy to believe in angels again, but that isn't touched on at all in this book.
By the end of the book, Tristan has somehow gone back in time and figured out that the accident was really and accident and somehow had cut his breaks. And that's it. That's how it ended.
To wrap this up- I had wanted to read this years ago and am actually very happy that I never did. If I had not had this suggested to me for a challenge, I doubt I ever would have picked this up. It just seemed like a whole lot of nothing happened in this book other then a teen dying.

I originally picked up the 4th book in this series because it sounded interesting. About to dig into it, I realized that it wasn't the beginning. Since I hate jumping into the middle of a story, I decided to read books 1 - 3.
The stars are true. Overall, I found it ok.
Kissed by an Angel was quite difficult for me to get through, more so for personal reasons than anything. Tristan was absolutely adorable when he was trying to win over Ivy! I have no idea what took her so long. Reading over their relationship from the beginning made my heart hurt knowing how it would turn out in the end, for Tristan anyway. Gregory gave me the heebie jeebies right from the start. I don't know what's up with Ivy but if someone dare throw MY cat across a room, they'd wake up confused with a bloody nose. Rating: 2 1/2 stars
The Power of Love was easier to get through. Even though things were still moving too slow for my tastes, it was OK. Most of the time I was like, "WTF are you DOING Ivy?" I like Beth a lot. Will is...eh. I hate Suzanne. So. Much. The majority of the book was rather boring, until the last two chapters or so. But seriously, who ends a book at the climax? Rating: 1 1/2
Soulmates the most exciting of the three. I enjoyed Soulmates, it went a lot faster than the others. By the end of all this, if I was in Ivy's situation, I would have quite a bit of PTSD. The ending was nice I guess even though I though I don't agree with...Ivy's decision. Rating: 3
After finishing it all, I really wondered what else there was to happen in Evercrossed. Everything seems pretty complete to me, any more it just comes across like it's being milked. Not saying I won't read it, it's just...more than necessary.
I do hope that in book four there's more about Will. I have no image of him besides those eyes. I don't quite know what Tristan looks like either but at least his personality shines through. Will is rather bland for my tastes.

In Ivy and Tristan's case, true love never dies...literally. After a car accident, Ivy is left devastated while Tristan is left on earth. He realizes that he won't be able to move on until he saves Ivy from the imminent danger that follows her. Their love is a love that is maintained beyond death. This paranormal love story will enchant and haunt you.
