I really enjoyed this read. I knew what to expect having watching the show, but I really enjoyed the different perspectives from George, Agatha and Brimsley. My only complaint is not getting closure on Reynolds and Brimsley’s story.

Charlotte and George’s love story told by Julia Quinn and Shonda Rhimes will forever be one of my favorites. Whether it is told from the book or viewed from the Netflix series, it will always get me emotional.

I love Charlotte and George and I loved this book. Don’t recommend reading it shortly after watching the show since the book is very similar to it.

I'm always a fan of Julia Quinn and this book didn't disappoint. I have already read and watched all of the Bridgerton series, so I knew some of the ending of the queen's story, but it was fun to read how she got there. I kind of enjoyed learning about Lady Danbury more than the queen, she's always been a favorite character of mine.

I really hope there's a book 2. While I enjoyed the book, it felt like the book wrapped up very quickly, and there should have been more to the story. Season 2 coming soon?

That ending wrecked me just like the show. Ugh. Just George & Just Charlotte.

If you liked the show you'll like the book!
The book does not flip back and forth between past/"present" like show, but I actually really liked that. It also cuts some side character storylines to focus more on Charlotte from several POVs (Charlotte, George, Brimsley, and Agatha), but enough of each POV's storyline to keep their depth.
I cried at the end of the book just as much as I did at the end of the show ❤️ and now I'll go rewatch Queen Charlotte

I'm not sure if it's because it's been a minute since I've seen the show, but I didn't find the book to be too repetitive more like a companion.

The book adaptation was oretty faithful to the show - if only we did this well at adapting shows to books.
