Even better than the original Bridgerton series! Shonda Rhimes is brilliant.
funny lighthearted

So charming! The book felt more in style with the TV show while still keeping a lot of the heart of a good Bridgerton novel. The different POVs felt a lot like scene shifts in an episode,  keeping you constantly moving forward. I loved the different relationships and the explicit exploration of women’s power in an extremely patriarchal and class driven society. Agatha and Charolette have an amazing bond, which I feel like is almost more important than the relationship between Charolette and George. I also loved the deep dive into the “Great Experiment”, which is part of the show cannon rather than the book cannon. Just overall an entertaining (and also heart-wrenching) read.

I would love to know more about Reynolds and Brimsley!

Broke me to pieces as expected. Thankfully however did not feel as if I were just reading the script of the show. Still achingly beautiful.

So good! I absolutely LOVE this love story.
