This was very disappointing after watching the show. This is the first time I have read a book and thought that that book gave me less than the show or movie did...but this book was the exception. It provided no additional depth to the story, a story that I already felt was lacking. It was clearly written for Bridgerton lovers, but I feel it did nothing for them.

Queen Charlotte by Julia Quinn
I watched the Queen Charlotte miniseries on Netflix last year (before the book - don’t @ me), and I SOBBED and immediately purchased the book. And ya know what? The book made me sob just as much.
I’m not normally a fan of historical, royal romance but this book has a hold on me. The emotion is so evident on the pages. So beautiful. And the love between Charlotte and George was so wonderful. I have to remind myself that they’re not real (which then makes me sadder)

Another fabulous read by my fave girlie miss Quinn! So glad miss shonda got involved as well. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is it is the EXACT same plot as the tv show - so I wish I would’ve read it before I watched (but obvi had no patience for that). So if you haven’t seen Queen Charlotte on Netflix yet, read this first!!

Nice and easy read for a plane ride! This was exactly as the show was so no surprises, but I did enjoy following this love story again as it might be my favorite Bridgerton love story. It’s definitely the best Bridgerton book I’ve read so far
