This is the second novel in the Ruthless Boys Saga and I felt like it was on par with the first book. I don’t think it was any better, but it was still a fun read.
I’m all for Elsie trying to figure out who murdered her brother, but I think her feelings for the Kings are starting to get in the way. I think Dante is my favorite boy in this story. He seems to really like Elise and doesn’t give her much to dislike. Not sure how I feel about Leon now. He seems so over the moon for her, and I’m not the biggest fan of it. Ryder and Gabriel are still mysteries, but I like learning more about their histories in this book.
The ending of this book was surprisingly good with some action, but I wanted more! Here’s to hoping the next book is even better. I will say I like Zodiac Academy better.

Eh the male POVs gave me the ick in this book. Not because of the males, but because of how Elise acted in their chapters. She was like a weird flirt with no dimension when we were in the male POV. Which is odd, because she switched back to being a badass with a strong will in her chapters... I don't like how she turned into a teasing sex kitten in all the male chapters when she isn't like that the rest of the time.

Don’t get me wrong, It’s definitely fun to read but it is quite repetitive. I don’t think this series needed 5 books to figure out who killed her brother. I do wish they focused on that more. I know these are essential for the main Zodiac Academy story but I am so ready to go back to those books. Let’s see how these all connect
