Review: I feel like this book is a continuation of the last book without many differences. It is still holding my attention; the scenes are getting a little spicier and the investigation on motive continues. Elise still insists she isn’t going to choose, but I have a favorite that I hope gets a HEA. My one complaint is that these are supposed to be really dangerous men and they are starting to feel like pussy cats, with the exception of Ryder. Family plays a very large role in this book as we find more about our MMCs backgrounds. Even Leon’s family seems toxic, especially his relationship with his brother Roary. Dante and Ryder are stuck in a Hatfield/McCoy feud that I am hoping they can overcome before this story ends. Gabriel just plain never had a family, which may be the saddest of them all.

This series has been hooked! This one picked up a lot more, loved seeing them all slowly grow closer. I’m intrigued to see where it will go with the pact, gangs and half of them hating each other
