Each girl is looking into the lives of the other with some envy, but also all judgement passed on each other is based off their own past experience. I enjoyed the contrast between reading a chapter in first person pov for one girl, and empathizing with her and feeling sympathy for her actions and choices, and then how the girl would be perceived by the others in some offhand comment in other POVs.

Overall an enjoyable and quick read, but nothing about it was groundbreaking to me.
