When I picked this book up, I expected it to be about the strict beauty standards set for women and the booming industry it has created.
Well, we got a glimpse of that & more; an open window to the life of working South Korean women and an exploration of their problems navigating a world that is working against them from the start( although at some points it did felt like we were going off of a checklist).
An interesting read nonetheless.

A super interesting insight into South Korean culture, social hierarchies and beauty standards. I only wish it had been slightly longer & delved a little deeper, but overall a super enjoyable read!
