The way Kate Stewart's books make me feel is totally not okay. BUT I LOVE IT??

This book made me smile, made me laugh, made me feel sick to my stomach, was incredibly relatable at times, and WAS SO FRICKIN AMAZING. I loved every single part of it so, so much.

DO NOT SLEEP ON DRIVE JUST BECAUSE YOU LOVE THE RAVENHOOD SERIES. Every single book I've read by KS is amazing and I CANNOT WAIT for Reverse!

Let me just start my review by saying I'm a big fan of band/rocker books it's just not my thing and I don't usually enjoy them as much as everyone else that reads the. But this book? THIS book is so going on my fave reads of the year list! Maybe because it was about the drummer (they're my faves) and not the guitarist or lead singer LOL I don't know but Ahhhhhhh! I couldn't get enough of this book it's all I could think about when I couldn't read! My goodness! The angst....the GOOD kind not the annoying kind....just wow. Such a well written love triangle I loved ALL of the characters so much. I truly had NO idea who Stella would wind up with until the very very end when I read the name. I FREAKIN LOVE THAT! Kate Stewart this is my first read by you but most certainly not my last! Bravo! If I could give it 5 stars I would. Man I feel a hangover coming on!

What a roller coaster this book was! I loved the sound track of this book. It was such an immersive experience to listen to the music with each chapter and get inside the head and heart of Stella. I don’t know how Kate does it but she did it to me with the Ravenhood series and she did it with me I this book I really loved both Nate and Reid so much. Nate was the soft and easy don’t even have to think about it kind of love while Reid was the all consuming passionate tough love. I genuinely rooted for either guy. I’m interested to see what the second book is about so off I go ☺️

4.5 Stars - Really Good

This love story really was beautiful and emotional. Stella loved Reid at his lowest point in his life when he & everyone counted him out and yes at the time he wasn't good enough for her but she believed in him so much it saved him...but is it enough for him to get the girl? After reading and loving Kate Stewart's Ravenhood series I wanted to read another one of her books and I am so glad I did, because I really liked this book a lot. I believe it is good to go in blind like the Ravenhood series.

Drive has a double meaning in the book, but I do believe the book cover can be a deterrent. But I would say in this instance to "never judge a book by its cover"

I have now added another book boyfriend, Reid Crowne
