Willow Winters is keeping me on the edge of my seat with this series! Heartless picks up where Merciless left off with Carter and Aria. There is a lot happening in this second installment. We get to know more about the history of the families as well as meet with Carter's brothers and their women. There is a little sideline mystery with Jase's girlfriend that I am anxious to know more about. The continual push-pull between Carter and Aria is exhilarating and tiring at the same time. I am stuck wondering if I like Carter or I hate him. I even have issue with Aria's feelings towards Carter. I can't imagine her circumstances, so I need to know more to understand her feelings! So much action and continual family fighting, I need to know where this all leads, and Winters leaves me on the precipice of suspense...again! I need to move on to book 3 and keep the story going. Breathless will be on soon!

Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood do an amazing job narrating this dark tale. I am loving Morgan's ability to go from evilness to tenderness in the blink of an eye. Peachwood is amazing with Aria's strength and vulnerability. She has her pegged to perfection. Can't wait to continue.

I have no words on how to explain this. I need more Carter. Carter and Aria are so broken with and without each other. The war is in full effect but there's also a war in each of their hearts.

Omg this book!!

Willow has just left me speechless once again with this book. This is the continuance saga of Carter and Aria and their give or take love for each other if only she would submit completely she would see he would give her everything if he hasn't done so already even his own brothers have noticed the changes in him, but if he gives in he knows she'll have power over him and he knows it'll make him weak and war is coming and he can't have that.

This book and these words had me so emotional you can feel just how much Aria is trying to hate Carter when she loves him and poor Carter I could feel the despair he felt when he was younger and forced into this life he now lives and the decisions he's had to make.

This book was so good so damn good. I highly highly recommend this book.
