so good. probably has some of my favorite moments between kou and futaba, and them respectively. if it were possible, i’d give this 5+ rating ♥️✨

Fataba discovers the reason why Kou changed so much—he lost his mother. 

And so now Kou doesn’t hold the same sentimentality in friendships and other relationships because he fears he may lose them? He’s still dealing with losing his mom. 

Kou may act as if he doesn’t care but deep down he still does. It’s shown in the few moments when he displays kindness and affection towards Futaba. 

Futaba tries her best to make sure that IOU is included. She isn’t giving up on him. Their friend group starts study sessions—to help Kou with his grades so he can stay in school. 

Futaba and Yuri still struggle with the fact that they both like the same boy. Becoming jealous of one another. But they realised that they still value each other’s friendship. 

Yuri confesses that she likes Kou. But he tells her he doesn’t see her that way. 

At the end, Kou offers and invitation to Futaba to go to a festival with him—just like back in junior high when they missed their chance—this will be a redo for them both.
