Not my favourite Backman book, but still enjoyable. Much like Beartown this is a book about sports in a small town that is not really about sports at all. This was a broadly uplifting book.

This book feels like A Man Called Ove, but if Ove was a woman and was a little less confident. A great story about a little town that had almost given up where Britt-Marie came by and without knowing it, changed everything. Beautifully written with charming characters that are just everyday people.
