After reading The Graveyard Book and The Ocean at the End of the Lane, I was really craving more of Neil Gaiman's books. I thought that I would start with a couple of his children's books since they're easily obtainable and quick reads.
Pirate Stew wasn't worth the read for me. It's not necessarily the age level that was distasteful but it was the plot. I don't think many kids would enjoy the story.

The illustrations are go glorious and the story is great...but the rhyming sequence in this one really had me struggling, it just didn't flow easily and I found myself having to re-read it a couple of times.
Excellent artwork! Some very fun rhyming!
One can never go wrong with Neil Gaiman.
I may be getting this book again soon via audiobook. Especially if Neil is reading it.
