When I saw this book, I was drawn to the cover and title, not knowing what it was about. I figured it was a fantasy book and that it had to do with fighting, but that’s all I knew. Once I started reading, I didn’t want to stop. It had fighting, growth, challenge, courage, ect. It was a fun read and it even had a little romance sprinkled in. I really enjoyed this book, and partly wished it has a sequel. I want more Evadne and Damon, especially after everything they went through. It’s a great standalone book, but maybe I’m just selfish and want more. I highly recommend this to fantasy lovers who also enjoy good sword fighting.

Beautiful, magical. Full of action, family love, and a very sweet tender romance. A fantastic Rebecca Ross novel.

Ok I loved the characters and the world but I wish there was more explained world building. I also felt like this book was very slow.
