Wow this was a very intense read that will have you on the edge of your seat as it will take you on a ride that will take you on a hard love ride that will show that feeling and alpha male can be tough and hard too handle. As a alpha male that will have you on the edge of what his wife will do as she pushes all his buttons and throws him over he edge every time she doesn’t get her attention and choices as he will have babysitters to keep her from something dark.

The story was good, but I found the MFC frustrating. The MMC was a total ass over and over, downright cruel yet she let it all slide because she wanted to sleep with him. I can deal with grumpy/sunshine or cruel and groveling, but if one character is cruel I want to see the other either broken, fighting back, or walking away.

Holy cow! Yes I know in this centurt, it was very unappealing reading a story about a virgin selling herself to a man just to get a tuition for her degree.
And yet despite all that, I still enjoy The Deal very much.

I have to admit Miss Gray has a brilliant talent in writing The Deal. The story is interesting especially reading it from Victoria's POV. How she seduces her way into Stefan's heart.

It is also clever strategy from Miss Gray to not put too much Stefan's POV to keep him mysterious and aloof. This strategy definetly pays off!

I am so looking forward for the next book.

"We don't deal in regrets."

I started and finished this book in a day. I absolutely loved it. 100% recommend it if you're into arranged marriages and a bit of an age gap. Also, one thing to keep in kind is that the Female MC is a teenager. She's not the most assertive character. It's mostly told by Victoria's POV with a few chapters being told in Stefan's POV.

~ SPOILERS/SUMMARY BELOW ~

Victoria, aka Tori, is turning eighteen in the beginning of the story. She's the daughter of a senator. For her eighteenth birthday, her father gifts her a man and marriage. This man is Stefan. He's the son of the owner of KZ Modeling.

Victoria is immediately attracted to him. She tries to please him in every turn. Stefan is a workaholic. He, of course, is attracted to her because doesn't act on his desire until layer on. He doesn't even take her virginity during their honeymoon. He's also a bit of an arsehole. He's "hot and cold" as Victoria puts it.

Victoria notices strange actions in the models of KZ Modeling doesn’t think much of it until shs over hears a conversation between Stefan's father and brother.
