Thank you to the author and Love Notes PR for the arc!

The first half of the book was great but the other half had me difficult to finish reading it. I genuinely felt the lack of chemistry in terms of the friendship between Lacey and Shawn. But overall, the book was enjoyable, the spice was just nice and most importantly, no 3rd act breakup!

I received an ARC. My review is as honest as I can be!
First of all I didn't read the first book in this series. But I can tell you I will definitely do it!
The Lovestory of Lacey and Shawn is so so cute I kicked my feet and giggled like a little child almost the whole book through!

Definitely in top 10 favorite books

The friendship between Lacey and Shawn was already solid from the start, before they even started to fake date they were already close and acting like a couple in my opinion. You could really tell that Shawn cared a lot about Lacey and when another guy hurted her by humiliating her on camera, and not wanting to kiss her on the kiss cam. Shawn had enough and kissed her in front of 70.000 people.

I loved the way the characters communicated. It was honest, it was real and they always told each other what they needed to say, no matter the consequences. I enjoyed the way their story developed and how they started spending more and more time together. Every moment between them was either cute, tense or spicy and I loved every bit of it. You could really tell they enjoyed each others company.
The Christmas visit at Shawn’s parents house was adorable and they were all so sweet. I laughed when Shawn’s mother told him he knew they weren’t actually dating, but that he needed to open his eyes. They were both so delusional that they could get so close and then go back to best friends in the end. They both fell hard for each other, but also didn’t wanna ruin a good friendship. But honestly their friendship was already so loving and relationship-like, that it honestly didn’t change much except the spicy side.

I couldn’t get enough and rushed through the book. I loved every single bit of it and would definitely recommend reading it if you love a good friends to lovers story.
