Interesting premise. Alternate universe in Japan, where people spontaneously combust into an infernal. And firefighters have become a special force that puts them out. (Read: kill.)
Great art. Nice double page panels of the action. There's already a overarching plot being laid down.
Unnecessarily perverted. I don't mind tits and boob shots. But come on. There's literally several panels of a female character getting groped underneath her clothes, passed from one male character to another. Because she has a "perv lure". (Does she breathe through her skin too?)

The following is a review for volumes 1 - 3 and main contain spoilers. Reader discretion is advised.
This is basically Blue Exorcist meets My Hero Academia but not as good as either of those.
The Good:
The world building and conflict is really interesting. It is always fun/funny to see the appropriative shoe on the other foot, and as someone who was raised Catholic it feels like some small details are Easter (ha!) Eggs special for me.
Our main character isn't bad, but his "I'm going to be a hero" thing makes me think of MHA and how much better that manga/show is. Him and his rival character are kind of the low points in the series and I wish the story followed Obi or Maki (I freaking love her little fire balls - they are too cute) as they are way more interesting but get only a little screen time.
The Bad:
The character and weapon designs are uninspired and pretty basic. I lost my God dang mind when I saw the ax/knife/dart/gun and quit reading for the night because it was so dumb. And, none of the other weapons particularly stood out. As a side note, why does the Arthur's lightsaber have a scabbard? What is the point of that?
As for the character designs, Shinra looks just like Blue Exorcist's main character Rin - so much so that I had to double check to see if this was written by the same mangaka. Why is Arthur so stupid? It is fine to have a dumb character but a conflict was literally resolved by him remembering that he was right handed.
Then there is the ladies. Why does Tamaki and Maki have such similar names and character designs? I genuinely thought Tamaki was Maki when she first showed up. Also, what is with the way Tamaki's power manifests? It is both aesthetically unpleasing and nonsensical. And, what the hell is going on with Company 5's captain's pupils? Why are they clover shaped? It is so distracting!
The Yikes:
What the hell is with all the super gross ecchi "humor"? I've come to expect a certain amount of it in Shonen, but Tamaki's whole purpose seems to be for ecchi. It's like any time the plot slows down, it has to come to a complete stop so Tamaki can fall into someone and some how their hands end up down her pants or up her shirt. It's not integrated well, it's nonsensical, it's not funny and basically feels like Mineta from MHA wrote those sections in. If they kept the ecchi to the pointless ladies shower scenes, I would probably keep reading but because it happens any time the pacing slows down I'm just not going to read any further.
One last note: how old are these characters? I assumed Shinra was the usual 15/first year high schooler age but he is drawn similarly to Maki who apparently is ex military. I ask because the 5th's Captain is clearly a grown ass woman and her being in love with Shinra is either fine or super gross.

I'll be blunt about it. The anime adaptation is what makes this manga good. It's not bad, but it's better in the anime, you just need the amazing animations for it to be enjoyable, full stop.
