The beautiful, but treacherous witch. The evil stepmother. But we get to understand her and sympathise with her and her situation.
The beautiful child prince is the true evil in the eyes of everyone but his father. It's brilliant to read and wonderfully atmospheric! I would love to read more about the Witch Bride.

this is a short horror/fantasy story. i saw this pretty cover and i told myself i need to read it, so i read it. and… i was disappointed to say the least lol.
the characters were super under developed, i got a tiny glimpse into what the little prince was like—monstrous—but it felt really over the top just for the sake of it. he also came across as a lot younger than his supposed 11 years.
one thing i loved about the stepmother was that she cared for animals and wanted to teach the boy a lesson.
the writing style wasn’t good at all. it was simplistic and didn’t manage to suck you into the story. it was such a short one and i didn’t feel like i took anything out of it.
halfway into it i also was ready to be done with this book, i was bored. 😭
the plot… nonexistent lol. i mean, i get it, but after finishing this book, i was like: that’s it? that’s the story? there were no high stakes, nothing remotely intriguing.
this is definitely not my type of horror at all. make sure to check trigger warnings first if you decide to read it, but i personally wouldn’t recommend it. the cover misled me big time. 😭
