A great story that has all the feels. I loved the characters and connection. It’s pulls at your heartstrings as you cheer for this couple and their journey. It’s entertaining second chance romance.

Oh, my Godness! I have loved reading this book. It's my favorite so far. It has a really nice flow and I couldn't put it down.
Shannon and Cam's story was so touching, loving and amazing.
If you are a fan of romance, hocky, likeable characters and HEA than you can't go wrong with this book.

Timely Assist is a fantastic addition to the Tampa Suns series. I had misgivings about Cam from his previous role in the lives of his new teammates on the Suns. The story opens about 5 years in the past and immediately his immaturity level and the callous side of him is forefront, but I'm happy to say he was redeemed.

The story focuses on Georgia transplants Shannon Mackenna, her 5 year old daughter Kayleigh, and Shannon's grandmother Gracie. This small but tightknit family find themselves a part of the Tampa Suns world as Shannon's gym becomes a place some of them workout in during off hours. When Shannon comes face to face with a part of her past, Cam, she knows her world is going to change. She keeps Cam at bay, but that can only last for so long.

This is a great second chance love story where they both find they are enfolded into each others world. Cam fights hard to win Shannon over, and it seems she's inspired a very chivalrous side to him. Their influence in each other is organic and they truly seem to find in each other a place where they can each be at piece. For Cam, what he finds is that this insta-family is everything he needs, and it's endearing to see the impact Kayleigh has on him. Ryan captures Kayleigh's talk perfectly and I couldn't help but imagine this darling girl.

As I sat to write this review I started mulling over the title to this lately addition for the Tampa Sun hockey series and I realized the magic in the title. These two find each other (again) at the right time in their lives, making their reconnection perfectly timed indeed. 5 Stars and recommendation!!

Ryan finds emotion and lassos the heart with it. Shannon and Cam are a bundle of heated glances and missed chances. From compelling words of wisdom to unpredictable lessons of the heart, Timely Assist proves that temptation doesn't have to always mean spicy sometimes it can be sweet.

I rarely give just a 3-star review, and while I really wish I could give this book a higher rating I just can’t.
The premise and storyline snagged my interest, but unfortunately about a 100 pages could have been cut from this book without losing any of the storyline.

There are several scenes that are repetitive that don’t further the actual story. The author mentions numerous attempts when Cam tries to get Shannon to agree to spend anytime with him. He practically begs her to spend time with him, to return his text messages or calls. Had the story included much less detail and fewer repetitive scenes this would have been a much improved reading experience.

I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

The overarching plot was too much of a stretch given the trope/premise. It felt like a lot of manufactured conflict that wasn’t captivating enough to keep me interested.

While I love all the Suns couples I think Shannon and Cam are my favorite! This book has it all - hockey (of course!), surprise pregnancy after a one night stand, redemption, change and a HEA.

Shannon meets an AHL player at Mahoney’s while celebrating her end of semester exams. Being buzzed she allows him to drive her home and asks him to stay. They don’t exchange any information, including names - the only thing she remembers is his blonde hair and a scar on his cheek.

Fast forward 2 months when she finds out she’s pregnant - and the guy she is pretty sure was her hook up tells her he has no clue who she is and they never hooked up! But he does give her a card with his attorney’s information and tells her to call him.

With her parents gone and her brother deployed she has no family other than her Nanna in Tampa - where she moves after Kayleigh is born. For 5 years she works raising her daughter with her Nanna’s help while starting her own gym. Her ties to the Suns come through her “Pre-Dawn” group of players who use her facility for their off season workouts.

Through them she meets Cam - NHL’s bad boy who is finally convinced he needs to clean up his act. His first act - joining the “Pre-Dawn” group where he sees Shannon and decides he wants to get to know her better.

As they grow closer Shannon realizes Cam is Kayleigh’s father but has no idea how to bring up the subject after their last meeting where she tried to tell him! What will she do? How will he react? Has he really changed from his bad boy ways? What will this do to Kayleigh and her fragile 5 year old heart if he doesn’t want to be her daddy? But really with Kayleigh and Nanna, along with Cam’s sister on Team Cam - does Shannon and her heart really stand a chance against true love?
