I am no hater of the miscommunication trope but this was a bit much for me.

3.25 rounded I really didn't enjoy the first half because of a big miscommunication trope but I did enjoy the ending.

I will probably try another book by this author to see if it is more my taste.

Très frustrant le problème de communication tout au long du roman ! C’était bien écrit par contre ! Et la fin est très satisfaisante !!

I dont really know how to rate this one. It wasn't bad, and I enjoyed it, but I never felt drawn to the story or super excited about it. I did really like that the main character tells us stories in her head about what she would want to happen, how she plans things out, and how she's explaining the story being told. It's the way that I think in my own mind and I loved that. However the entire plot was built on miscommunication (and the characters know this) and so that just wasn't really my thing. And then it's hard to WANT the characters to be together and feel that connection between them since they've now spent a week traveling in an ice cream truck entirely pissed at each other.

So, 3.5 stars. Maybe you'll enjoy it?

Say it with me y’all, COMMUNICTION IS KEY

Unfortunately this book wasn’t for me. Didn’t like the two main characters at all, so I found it really hard to root for their romance. There were also way too many conflicts, all of which could’ve been solved with a simple conversation. Weren’t enough cute moments, it was mostly just the main character hating on the love interest for something that really (to quote the book) “wasn’t that deep”?? All of this combined with a writing style that wasn’t really my thing made the whole story feel very underwhelming :( 2.5 Stars
