I've seen this one on my "you may like" feed for a while and decided to give it a listen.

I was immediately drawn to the love story of Elizabeth and Jack, a couple that met and lived in the same Wicker Park neighborhood where I lived with my husband in the early 2000s. Their love story as well as their current marital struggles were entirely relatable.

Additionally, there is a great dive into the tech-obsessed health culture of today as well as the cultural and societal pressures on parents and Americans in particular.

Another DNF in a row, sigh. Interesting writing and deep dives into various topics (not all that relevant to the plot?).

at first i thought this was another trope about unhappy marriages; and while it is that, there’s also some great symbolism and threads to dissect along the way. didn’t love the massive tangent about social media algorithms but i get why it was part of the plot and writing style. overall would recommend as a great psychological study of marriages but not a book that picks up a lot of speed.
