one of the very few books I’ve ever allowed myself the grace to not finish. this book is exactly the type of book I would normally obsess over, but it was extremely tangential and at times quite arduous.

This is a fictional book exploring modern marriage that enfolds a range of topics that include social media misinformation to wellness culture. The amount of research that went into this was clear and yet still digestible and interesting (albeit I am a self proclaimed nerd). 600 pages is long and some parts could have been trimmed but it doesn’t deter you from continuing and being interest in how the story will unfold.

Loved this book! Didn't feel like it was 600 pages at all which says a lot!

Way too long. I don't think I'm a fan of this author's writing style. It comes across as pretentious to me. I kept plugging along to see it through to the end, but it felt like a a marathon to no finish line.

The most interesting parts were the (awful) character's back stories and their traumatic upbringings. Besides that, this book was unnecessarily wordy.

Favorite review I saw was something like "presented as a burrito, could have been a taco." Spot on.

Both brilliant and enjoyable
