At the beginning, I found the jumping around in time quite frustrating at points but SO rewarding and worth it as everything unfolds. The story is told so well and language is wonderful. Loved delving into the ideas of placebo and conspiracy theories. Left me with a lot to think about.

it took me literally forever to read this book but overall i did enjoy it. very strong ending for me. a couple too many tangential moments (seems like Hill’s) style tho

“Believe what you believe, my dear, but believe gently. Believe compassionately. Believe with curiosity. Believe with humility. And don't trust the arrogance of certainty. I mean, my goodness, Elizabeth, if you want the gods to really laugh at you, then by all means call it your forever home.”

That did not feel like 600 pages at all wow

Saved the best book for last.
