i love when authors include research. also every sentence feels intentional and damn near perfect, which is impressive for 600 pages

I can see why people completely love this, but there was something about it (it’s very possible that it’s just that I could very much feel that it was written by a man, and much of the story was about motherhood) that was holding me back a bit. I did like the non-linear telling of the story and how we moved closer and closer to a “truth”, while interrogating what a truth could even mean
