This is such a cozy read. So sweet and a little slow, and very comforting.
There is a miscommunication trope and a third act break as a consequence but it's not as annoying and frustrating.

Evie is the travel content creator we meet in the first Lovelight book and Beck is the socially anxious farmer with the biggest heart. They had a 2 night stand and met again when Evie came to Lovelight in the last book. But now she is burnt out and can't seem to get back into the game. Her best friend and assistant asks her, where was the last place you felt happy? She realizes it was at Lovelight. So she packs her bags and goes there on a whim when she finds that all the rooms at the hotels are booked due to a kite flying festival. Alone on the back road, she is trying to deicide what to do when she finds Beck walking up to her. He invites her to stay at his house and quietly begins to help her find her happy.

I liked the easy going, cozy atmosphere that the book had, but Beckett and Evie should have just talked..... I liked the first book much better.

I really enjoy the loveliest farms series.
Very easy, bingeable reads. A little forgettable, but hits the spot

This might be a case of it's not you, it's me. It was a wholesome sweet read but something was missing for me. I wasn't completely convinced into the love story developing here.

I really liked Beckett and Evie’s story, but I honestly think that one conversation, in which everyone said how they really felt, would have prevented all the issues the encounter and I know that is the point of the story but damn people communicate at least a little bit more like how can you see someone’s emotions in their eyes but cannot read between the lines of dialogue…..

Some seriously cringey lines made me have to stop listening a few times but it was good once I got through it. Can’t say I’ll run back to it ever again but the series is an interesting concept and I might keep going with it

I adore the cozy small town atmosphere that Borison creates in this series, complete with hyper-competitive trivia nights, top-notch bakeries, and a phone tree that exists primarily for the purpose of spreading town gossip, and her sparkling writing style. There's such a wonderful sense of place here and description after description that makes me feel transported to Inglewild. What frustrated me a little here was the sheer number of miscommunications between Beckett and Evie, including a few that could have been easily solved. Not every book needs a third-act breakup and I'm not sure this one did.
