This one was cute. Mia was strong and knew exactly what she wanted and what she was worth. Ford was a total cinnamon roll and I loved him. He’s a hot quarterback, but he grew up on a ranch and is a bit of a cowboy.

This is the first book I have read by Kelsie, but this will not be my last. I enjoyed Hello Quarterback very much. This is a fake dating sports romance between Mia, a confident plus-size CEO, and Ford, the best professional quarterback. I’m a sucker for these romance tropes. I recommend checking out this book and series!

Reading this book if you like:
-Confident plus size FMC
-FMC CEO x NFL quarterback
-Football sports romance
-Fake dating
-Forced proximity
-Cinnamon roll MMC
-Slow burn
- Older woman x younger man

Loved it. The story was romance genre goodness with a great plot and characters. The romance was spicy and genuine.
Fake dating turned more. Also loved how grief from a childhood parental loss was dealt with and loved the therapy representation.

If you’re a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fan, I think you’d love this one. It definitely gave me vibes from their relationship and showcases two hardworking individuals with a powerful FMC that isn’t overshadowed by the MMC in her life.

As a childless married woman I also loved how both characters discussed how they love having nieces and nephews or being around their friends kids, but how they both knew having kids themselves wasn’t for them.

Despite this being the eighth book in a series, this is the first book I read by Kelsie Hoss so I didn’t know what to expect aside from having a feeling I would love it. Well, once again my instinct didn’t stir me wrong. The author’s style is great, and I enjoyed the book a lot!

Hello Quarterback was a fantastic book, with a beautiful romance between successful CEO Mia and star quarterback Ford Madigan, who begin a fake relationship that will benefit them both. For Mia, having a famous quarterback on her side will help her earn favor among those colleagues who aren’t entirely on her side yet, which will be helpful for an important company acquisition she plans to enact. Ford, instead, won’t have to tell the team’s owner no about dating his daughter and consequentially risk losing his spot on the team.

The dynamic between Mia and Ford was wonderful, and I loved how they came from a place of respect and that they clearly liked each other already when they started this arrangement. I especially loved Mia. She’s confident, she knows what she wants, she won’t let anyone treat her any less than what she deserves. Ford was dreamy, and his relationship with his family is one of the most adorable things ever. However, I wasn’t a fan of how he reacted after the incident that leads to the third act break-up (I’m trying not to spoil so this vague thing will have to do.) He’s human, and I can even try to understand why. He also works hard on himself to be emotionally ready to be the man Mia deserves, and I loved the things Mia handled things, but as far as third act dramas go, this wasn’t my favorite.

I’m really curious to read the other books in the series now. If like me you’re a fan of the Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver and you love the Eaton family, then I highly recommend you meet the Madigans! They’re wonderful!

As someone who has zero interest in having children, it was refreshing to read a book where the MC's don't want children. I loved that Mia knew her worth and didn't settle. She was confident, fierce, and strong, and I just love a baddie FMC. I also really enjoyed that Ford was the one who needed to work on himself. I don't think men with emotions or mental health issues get enough representation, so it was nice to see the FMC as the strong one and the MMC working on himself.
