This is a first by this author for me, I enjoyed this so much that will be going back and reading her other work! Hello Quarterback is her latest book and is Ford and Mia's story.
Ford is a professional quarterback who finds himself in a pickle with the team owner. He finds himself fake dating a woman in order to avoid another. Mia is a strong and fierce FMC who finds herself at the other end of Ford's plan. They do realize both could benefit from fake dating each other-what could really happen?
This book was nicely written and was not your typical romance. These two together learn from one another and have great chemistry. They have a deeper connection than just physical, and you can really feel it in the writing.
Hello Quarterback is an overall good read with swoony vibes. Releasing November 16, 2024, I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely devoured this book. Kelsie has a way of writing beautiful stories that just wraps me in a way that I don’t care about anything else but finishing the book! I loved Mia and Ford, specially Mia’s fearless, strong will to be unapologetically herself, as a CEO, a woman and a friend! Loved the age gap (she is Oder), between them! They were perfect together and completed each other perfectly. They start a fake relationship that benefits both of them, until is not fake anymore. Two successful people navigating through their successes and feelings. Ford is anti relationships, and Mia will only accept someone that can value her like she deserves. I can’t recommend this series enough! If you haven’t start it, what are you waiting for?
Another amazing read! I absolutely love Ford and Mia! We need more strong lead FMC’ like her. She will never let a man dictate her future as she should. But she found a perfect supportive partner or did she?

Loved this book, which is no surprise as the whole interconnected series is great but I think I especially enjoyed this one.
This book has the type of fake dating where you’re sitting there thinking “oh you’re both idiots!!” at first because they obvi like each other but both think it’s all for the fake.
I LOVE Mia - she’s a bit of a badass in various ways, but the end of the limo scene?? I was like “ohhh damn girl!!” Lol and of course later on when she really stands her ground for herself and what she feels she deserves.
I got the warm fuzzies but then also cried at the hard parts. Again, they’re idiots…especially Ford. But I also love how emotional he is (tearing up, lumps in his throat, voice breaks, etc.) and I just wanna hug him. Shake him and then hug him.
The tough parts were tough - I felt for both of them. Totally got why they each were the way they were but it sucked how that played out for them. It made the resolution that much sweeter.
FORD IS SO DAMN ROMANTIC! *swoons* how he goes about fixing things… ahh *kicking feet, hands under chin, dreamy*
There are open-door scenes in this, but just the amount and kind I needed. It’s there but it’s not the main show, it complements the emotional/relationship romance which is so central to the book. I really wanted to read something where the relationship and emotional connection was more of the thing and built well, this definitely has it down - I expect nothing less from Kelsie!
I also love the family aspect every time. It’s been brought up some point on Kelsie’s FB group or a live stream but I absolutely would love the boys’ dad Grey’s story. I don’t even need him to be some overly sexy Zaddy silver fox but he’s just so good with his sons and he’s got his “friend” Aggie and I’d just love to see him get his own happily ever after.
Overall, this is a really good romance that will get your heart all giggly and giddy and with just enough hotness to solidify the chemistry, featuring two strong leads who have their issues to deal with in order to finally get their HEA.
Definite recommend if you’re looking for a romance with a good emotional connection between the MCs.
5/5 ⭐️
I received an advance copy of this book and have left my honest, influence-free review.
Also, as an aside, I’m FROTHING AT THE MOUTH for Hayes…I just know he’s gonna be my fave brother, lil harmless baddie with a lip ring and probably walls up hiding a total sweet heart - yes pls.
