Will always read a Freida book! I enjoyed this one. It was a bit predictable but still some twists did shock me!
Learned too much about turtles lol.

Maybe I figured out the pattern, because I didn’t feel as thrilled. The suspense wasn’t as strong as it was for other Frieda books I’ve read. This wasn’t my favorite book by her.
But! As I read on, I started getting more and more into the story and having those conflicting feelings that I tend to feel when reading Frieda’s books, especially when it came to the characters. I liked Natalie at first, but then I couldn’t stand her. I was annoyed by Dawn at first, but then I felt sorry for her. And when it came to that point, I rooted for her. (I wasn’t too surprised by the twist, and I actually relished in it. I hated Natalie so much that I wanted to see her get what she deserved.)
The ending wasn’t what I was expecting, but I can’t say I hated it.
TW: workplace bullying, missing character, suicide (off-page), suicidal ideation
