I'd been wondering about Ace and Cree since the first book in the series. This book took me on a ride. The Roses. The Collective. I enjoyed everything about this book. The whole series was wonderful.

This was soooo good!

This was a romance, thriller, action, and suspense all rolled into one book and I loved every page of it!

Women that kill

Rereading this suspenseful love story made me remember how wild the Garden situation was.ace finding love in Cree and actually taking down the Garden was an amazing ride! I still felt like I was on the edge of my seat like it was my first time reading the book. Lot bumps in the road for this couple but I’m so glad they didn’t let any of that stop them from! This is a 5 star and guaranteed recommend from me!

This book had some good things about it. Cree and Ace's chemistry was intense. The plot about the Roses and Thorns was interesting albeit convoluted.

Actually, the entire story about the Bellroses, Alicia's father step mother, Dasha, Sebastian, the police sergeant, King's parents, etc., made my head spin trying to keep all the connections connecting. Sometimes it felt like a character appeared out of nowhere, but I thought maybe I missed something.

At times, it felt like too much, while at other times, it felt like there wasn't enough. I thought the ENTIRE Lauren, Cree, and Ace storyline was ridiculous. I could not in any form or fashion see Ace being ok with that situation.

Maybe it was created to soften Ace's character. I liked Ace from "Ante Up", the first book. I liked tougher Ace with brief moments of softness for the people she cared about. Now that I am thinking about it, Cree also seemed to have a much harder edge in the first book than in this book.

I listened to the audiobook, and enjoyed the narration. The book was full of love, romance, violence, danger, suspense, intrigue, corruption, and loyalty. I would recommend it. But, I think Ante Up should be read first so that you get the full impact of Alicia "Ace" Miller.
