Omg after that cliffhanger I couldn't wait to see what will happen next to Pandora. This world is one of my favorites. Pandora and her now 5 mates have a bond that's not fully done. This book is heavy on the groveling and omg is it good. I love how Dex, Bram, Skel have turn around. This book does end another OMG what is happening cliffhanger and makes me so excited for book 3.

OMG!!!! I don't think I could love Pandora more than I already do.

DFA Term 2 resumes right as Term 1 concludes. We see Pandora going over and her mate bonds snapping into place. Reading those first few chapters were truly heartbreaking because of what they were all experiencing. What I did like was that Bram, Dex and Skel knew they royally messed up and gave Pandora space to process everything. Pandora, love her, she was always true to herself. I really want her to show everyone how powerfulahe is.

We see Pandora, Reed and Hunter grow closer each day which was lovely to read. They are so good to and for Pandora. I really love them. Also, shout out to Jenni. She's such an amazing friend.

When we think things can't get anymore complicated with Pandora's mates etc, everything explodes in their faces.....

Please be warned, the cliffhanger that Lyra left us on nearly broke me. I loved it but I did get a little teary.

Lyra, yet again, you never cease to amaze me with your words. I can't wait to see what you have in store for Pandora and her mates, I know it's going to be extraordinary.

Thank you to Lyra and your beautiful team for the opportunity to be apart of your ARC Team. I am forever grateful 🙏

I don't know what exactly, but this book didn't hit quite the same as the first one. I still enjoyed it, sure, yet I also felt as if some things were a little repetitive. And it also felt like a couple things were changed from book 1:
I was confused when I read about Pandora going to Reed's room for the first time, because I felt like she had done that in book 1? I did not go back and read to confirm. Same as her meeting the cats with Skel, I felt like she had done that before. (Also did not go back and confirm- they are just instances where it felt information was either repeated or changed timeline.)

What you expect to happen after the events at the end of book 1 happens. It is not a quick fix, and I do super appreciate that. I think I would have had a problem if things were forgiven and forgotten quickly, lol.

I am interested in the underlying dark magic plot, maybe more than the relationships occasionally. 🫣Pandora is having character growth, of course, it's the...
groveling... that feels a bit... cheesy? at times? I don't know.
Like I said, while the overall story is good, it's not hitting that same level of love as the first did for me.

And I may be in the minority of ARC readers, but the ending cliffhanger did not shock me. 😅

Also, I am fully expecting a side-story book about a couple certain characters now, please, thanks Lyra. 😁

The cliff ending just about shredded my soul so I'm writing the warning at the beginning of this review.
A girl bestie finally appeared and it's the cutest thing ever. Pandora really needed female support in her life. Also the groveling??? She's so much tougher than me. I support FMCs who aren't doormats and make the MMCs actually work for forgiveness, but there were so many moments were I just wished I could hug the guys myself.
The spice was finally achieved and both Hunter and Reed definitely delivered the heat.

Let me begin by saying I was lucky enough to get an ARC for this book. Okay, now onto the important stuff!

I loved Term 2. It took every bit of energy to not binge read this. I just kept wanting to read one more chapter. And that ending!!! I'm breaking here.

The pain in the past of these characters is just heart breaking. I'm not excusing anyone's behavior but it makes to easier to understand their twisted view of the world. To be hurt by those you should be loved by can corrupt anyone.

I am so happy for the growing relationship between Hunter, Pandora, and Reed and I was hoping for more growth with the other three but I do see the importance of learning more about them plus THE GROVELING!!!!  Also poor Daryl, he just got his baby and now she's got bonds and all the good stuff going on. He's doing his best. Lol.  One thing that caught my attention was the little statement by Nebula. Was he more than just a cat? Who sent him? Was it a coincidence they crossed paths? There is more to him and I must know it.

I love Lyra’s books, and I’m so happy to be back in Kalista! I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader for this term at Demon Reform Academy, and I loved every second!

As promised, the groveling was beautiful. I wish it was a little more intense, but it fit so well within the overall shape of the plot. Dex, Skel, and Bram were made to WORK for any ground gained. Hunter and Reed were the loving, safe place Pandora needs! Death is the most supportive and awkward dad, and with the addition of Jenni, it seems our family is complete!

As mysteries unravel, will they all have the strength to move forward and overcome the darkness rising in the Demon Realm? Be ready for a BRUTAL cliffhanger, and I’ll see you all next term!

Return to Demon Reform Academy.
Really liking this story and seeing how the characters are improving.
I loved that the grovel actually took time. Pandora doesn't just think "they are hurting and if we bond it'll fix everything ". She acknowledges their pain but points out her own and why she needs time and proof of their repentance.
There are a lot of characters and sometimes it gets a bit hard to figure them all out but some new ones like Jenni are so awsome! Love the girl friend thing.
The end was a bit of a cliffhanger but I really don't think it's going to go in the direction it first appears.
Dex broke her collar off and seemed to be delaying for time, I think she'll have bonded him on her end in time to avoid the rejection. Then they will hopefully be smart and trick the others.

Some things that annoyed me a bit is things seemed repetative, using the same long description of her mate mark, was one that stood out. That could have been more multiple POV though. The characters did a few things that I thought was kinda dumb,
telling Vane they are mated rather than trying to get info from her
, but it's still a good story, plenty of twists.
