I’ve been not so patiently waiting for this book to come out. So despite the fact I’m currently in labor I had to finish the book. So worth it. 10/10 would recommend. Even if the ending broke my heart.
If Term 1 had me sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the other shoe to drop….Term 2 looked at it and said “hold my 🍺”
When you’ve been held captive & tortured your entire life, it’s hard to adjust to people being nice to you and recognizing that people who bully you and try to hurt you are wrong.
So when the 3 people who have been the absolute worst to you, and added onto the years of trauma you already have, turn out to be your fated mates….it’s got to be a mistake right?
This book does have the spice. It also has the crawling, begging, and groveling that Pandora deserves after the way she way treated. It looks like Pandora might get her HEA with Hunter & Reed….she’s even got a best friend now (who just might be in love with Pandora’s dad) 😂 It also wouldn’t be a Lyra book if there weren’t some twists along the way.
If you thought the cliff she hung us on at the end of Term 1 was bad have I got some news for you!!!

Most book girls have a few instant buy authors where you just click buy it now without even bothering to read the description because you know you will love it. Lyra is one of those authors for me (and honestly she should be for you too if you are a fan of paranormal why choose romance).
Lyra did it again with this book - though I am mad at her for making me cry in public at the cliff hanger. I was sobbing into my cocktail as I floated down the Danube on a river cruise, which is not a good look. My favorite characters remain Daddy Death (please let him get a HEA) and of course the snarky animal side kicks of Nebula and Gumdrop. I love the way the characters are discovering more of each others backstories in an organic way rather than just an info dump that isn’t always the most realistic. Watching them grow closer and Pandora learning to forgive as the men grovel for forgiveness, and man it is some good groveling the proper kind down on their knees.
I am counting down to book three and book four. Until then I shall go reread another one of her series and remind myself that Lyra won’t let me continue to be devastated by the end.

She does it again , book 2 has everything I wanted to happen in this series and i can not wait for the next one. Groveling, tension, heartbreak and heartache …. And hello ? The cliffhanger… this is a paranormal rh that deals with abuse both physical and mental as well as substance abuse so make sure to read the triggers . I have been a fan of hers for a while now and this one is just added to my list of books I’ll always recommend
