The whole moment plays like a Hallmark movie on fast-forward and I couldn’t take it seriously. Wren, sweetie, how are you supposed to save the world when you can’t even keep your disguise on? & FOR A MAN?!
HOWEVER... IN THE END I WAS ONCE AGAIN FOOLED.
That said, if you're in the mood for a fast-paced, trope-heavy fantasy that doesn’t take itself too seriously (and neither should you), Silver Elite is FUN! Just... don’t go in expecting logic or the next classic.
