The ending in Unshackle had me on pins and needles and immediately wanting to read Dominate.
Tommy is absolutely livid when he finds out someone has invaded his privacy and has read not only his most intimate thoughts, feelings and encounters.
But also all about his friends in the Freedom Fighters group.
Every one of them is now in jeopardy.
So he needs to lure out Tommysgirl ASAP.
And what he has planned for that person is not pretty!
Rylee is lost and utterly devastated when she catches her husband cheating on her.
He’s the love of her life.
And she’s always put him and his needs ahead of her own.
So that has her also angry and confused.
She’s now hanging over a bridge contemplating suicide.
It’s a dark cold night and her feelings in total shambles.
Rylee reaches in her thrift store bought jacket and finds an email address inside.
Opening open the account the first sentence she reads “I need you” has such a profound effect on her.
For ten years she reads the personal posts of a young boy now turned man.
She never responds.
Until she does.
And things will never be the same again.
When Tommy snarls and captures Rylee he is merciless and ruthless to her.
His loyalty is to his family of Freedom Fighters.
So he has no pity for Rylee.
He going to put her through the rule of three.
When you read the story you’ll know what they are.
But believe me they are not pretty.
Tommy puts her through hell.
Rylee is in mental turmoil.
Where once she felt sad for Tommy and his anguish.
She now feels so much anger.
She’s battling her mixed feelings of thinking she’s known him for tens years.
And has built feelings for him through the years.
But she can’t reconcile his hideous actions to the man in her mind.
Tommy is determined to find out who Rylee is working with and eliminating the threat to his family.
He is drawn to her and he doesn’t understand why.
He does find her absolutely gorgeous.
But it’s something more than just her beauty that he connects with.
Holy Smokes when things come to the breaking point with them all hell is about to break free!
Lust and passion combined with anger and hate are all powerful in themselves.
But all those combined together are earth shattering!
Tommy and Rylee are combustible.
Their anger is palpable.
Their lust is vigorous.
And it pours out of them through sexual encounters.
Then along the way their feelings turn to love neither are prepared for.
“So many feelings, sensations, the good and the bad,the pain and the pleasure-all of it mounted and spilled out in a shocking flood.”
Rylee and Tommy’s journey is rough,it’s difficult and extreme.
Finding love isn’t always filled with sunshine are rainbows.
For some it’s found with anguish and pain.
And for one couple a thrift store bought jacket and an email “Tommysgirl”.

I was already morning the loss of this series when i got to this book. And this one started so well!! But i had to drop my star rating down a star due to the quick ending and the last 10 chapters feeling like a build up to the next book(which i have been waiting for since the first time we met him!! So excited) This book had so much potencial that kind of got lost because the story was on a deadline of time- wish it had been longer and more drawn out basically, but it was a fun ride regardless!

4 stars

I had been looking forward to this book but I'm conflicted on my response to it. In my opinion, it felt rushed and lacked a lot of the depth that I loved about the previous books. I did like certain moments between the old characters where it showed how they were navigating their new roles in each other's lives. These aren't usual friendships forged with happy memories and I liked that the author gave me a chance to see that they still struggle.

Looking forward to the last book. I have a feeling it is going to be intense.

First of all, HUGE shoutout to Pam for having a FMC that is my age. I don’t see it often enough, and this just goes to prove that ladies *my age* can still pull off a steamy romance. 🥵

Second of all, this might be my favorite couple so far? (Although…Van and Amber are hard to beat…🤔) The premise is that he has been writing emails (basically diary entries) to his deceased girlfriend for 10 years, and had no idea that those emails were actually being delivered to Rylee, and those emails inadvertently saved and changed her life!

I loved this premise, and I loved that she was just crazy enough to set up a meeting with him in a secluded home in the desert.

Tomas puts her through it, but she is so strong, and the tension between the two of them? 🔥

In addition to the 💥 in the desert, we get a good chunk of *that one character from 𝘛𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘓𝘪𝘦𝘴* in this one, setting us up perfectly for the final book in this series.

What this book is giving:
✅ Dark Romance
✅ Dual POV/narration
✅ Age Gap (She’s 41, He’s 27)
✅ Dear Diary
✅ 🐓 = 10”
✅ Bros bonding over their first loves

I love the series and the storylines Godwin has created but I have no idea how i feel about this one. I'm overall convinced I should read everything she's ever written but this one I don't know how articulate my feelings about but I saw a review saying this one is like a gut punch and i can't agree more

Tommy's story, and it was absolutely perfect. Tommy has been writing emails to his love that died suddenly for 10 years, assuming they were not being read by anyone. But while taking down the La Rocha cartel someone replied to his last email. Now he is on the hunt for the person who read his private thoughts.
Rylee is a woman who has her own demons and issues but she has read every personal email that Tommy wrote and has reached out to him.
This story encompasses all the facets of a well written and entertaining story. There is loneliness and hope, danger and espionage, lies and deceit, but most importantly there is trust and love.
I can't wait for Cole's story!

Tommy's girl died a long time ago and nothing can change that. However, or should I say whoever, picked up her email and decided to contact Tommy will soon be as well!

Vowing to deal with the unknown, Tommy embarks on a solo trip to get back his secrets.

They say time heals all wounds, not sure Tommy or Rylee would agree. I know Mason doesn't.

Pam Godwin has me all Tangled in Lies, I mean knots. This series has been an epic adventure of vigilante justice and intense captor/captee relationships. In one book you are cursing the villian, the next you are swooning over their "fall". Nothing says disfunction better than these family gatherings. And yet, they would die for each other! It's an enigma.

Pam Godwin has created a world I seriously am 60/40 on the fence about being the reader instead of part of the story.

Terrible things, dubious people, and unbreakable bonds...how can you go wrong!?!

It kills me. The bittersweet knowledge that soon I won't be looking for more. Soon the Deliver series will be done but until then I will cling to the hope of everything left unsaid.

P.S. I love you Cole. I always have!

Rylee has lived life at a distance since the night she almost jumped off that bridge. She let's no one in and in return she stays safe. Her only real joy in life is the messages she receives from Thomas, who thinks he is writing to his dead girlfriend email. She has lived every major moment of his life right alongside him, been his support, his greatest fan and confidant. So when his last email comes it terrifies her, pushes her to reach out and demand he meet her, where it all began for him. She may think think has prepared for every conceivable outcome, but she will be sorely mistaken. Anger is a strong emotion and Thomas uses it perfectly as a tool for revenge, punishment. He may think he hates Rylee, but there is a fine line between love and hate and the two are a lot closer than either of them knew. A lot of darkness and despair, some definite sexual tension and some seriously delicious sexy time a la Thomas Dine and his depraved ways! And oh my God Miss Godwin! That Cole teaser at the end, you are killing me! It's gonna be sooo good ❤

Just a brief review. I might do a longer one later. This book was great! It was another fantastic installment in the Deliver series. I liked everything about the book except for the fact that the romance seemed very “insta” to me once a certain event happened to them. I wish this had played out differently for the characters in regards to the trust building. The FMC does something that would be unforgivable (to me), so believe it or not, I think she needed to grovel more. A hell of a lot more. I can’t wait for the last book! This character is one that I’ve been very anxious for a book on since book 4!
