This was so pretentiously written and repetitive and unrealistic in so many ways. I only finished it because it was 135 pages.

I don't even know how to rate this because it is so bleak, dark, and disturbing and the audio book didn't help. It reads like a children's book but it is NOT!!! Its just really trippy and I can't say I enjoyed my reading experience but this is one of those that will stay with me forever.

I don't know if I would call this a good book. It feels like the author has never met a child. It felt like I was reading an 80s slasher but with children.

a truly gruesome read and a parent's worst nightmare. imagine sending your kid off for a little school trip and to discover within a few days that your child and everyone else on the trip died/was killed.

was this well written? yes. did i enjoy it? no not at all. i already knew from the being it was going to be awful but reading abt the deaths of a bunch of 6 year olds + some supervising adults was something else. just abt all the deaths were brutal but the last descriptive one was outright horrifying.
