This was pretty good! Very unique for a story. The magic was still a bit confusing, and at times the main female character annoyed me. But the premise behind the hurt the main character has with her is something unique I hadn't read before, and really helped draw me in to the story.

I get it, your moms dead. You want to avenge her, so why not do anything about. This book moves glacially slow! I am so bored and uninterested in the charaters and the plot (what little there is). I tried to push through since the special edition is beautiful, but what little plot we did get was so obvious what little interest I had dried up.
