Probably my least favorite of the three. But still quite funny and quirky like the others. Hoping for another installment in the series!
Still entertaining - just felt like more of a stretch for some of the silliness.
This third installment of the Tales of Pell is once again filled with rollicking fun and fantastically narrated by the wonderful and talented Luke Daniels.

I really wanted to love these books. I really, really did. And I understand they're parody and poking fun at the tropes of fairy tales. But there are so. Many. Puns. Just when I'd start to get into the story, I'd get tripped up by another pun. (Myn Seas? Really? REALLY?) It would take me out of the moment and made it hard to stay interested in the story itself, which made it take longer to actually read the book. I even started looking for puns where there weren't any!
These are fun books, and if you REALLY love puns, you will probably enjoy them. But, for me, it was just too much.

Utterly silly, almost too much so. It is saved by two things: one, the sweet message underneath the ridiculousness, and two, the absolutely excellent audiobook narration. After this, Luke Daniels will be one of those narrators for whom I'll download a book just because he's reading it.
The puns and innuendo were too much in this one. When it's every other sentence it's just not funny anymore.
I just couldn’t get into this book.
Could be that it’s #3 in a series which I didn’t know about but the characters didn’t capture me nor the story grab my attention. I’m not rating it badly though because I didn’t get past the 1/3 mark and have a friend confirming if it’s me or not

Too much low-bar “potty” humor. The story is decent if you can get over that fact.
