Compared to her mothers stories which I love, the lead comes across as a spoilt brat writing was still superb that's why its got 3 stars but story and characters had a lot to be desired

the ending fell flat for me. i’m sorry. i just was like oh. ok. like i saw it all coming blah blah blah i just… yeah.
happy for eadlyn and my girl josie slayed (#justiceforjosie) and i FREAKIN KNEW merid was awful. also aren’t they like 4th cousins?! still ew!!! with just a little bit of scrolling i can find my fourth cousins on ancestry like THAT! boooo merid booooo.
henris realization couldn’t have been done better. i mean it could’ve but like who cares. idk why i’m trying to critique this like it’s a huge literary development. but all i can think is IMAGINE this happened on the bachelor(ette). it’s giving when clayton jumped the fence and everyone thought he ran off with a producer. or was the producer thing peters season? who knows and who cares.
i’m still not over the names in this book. some characters have normal names, but they’ve been utahified. nothing against utah, but you know what i mean. these names feel very sad beige baby with their name engraved on a piece of circle wood. influencers should be going NUTS at the names in this book
fox’s exit made me mad. like come onnnnnn why couldn’t you guys go to the beach and do it there or something just a cop out. it feels like the author was given an oddly specific page limit and freaked out and cut fox’s elimination out.
